About Us

  My Name is Amy and for as long as I can remember I have been around dogs.  I am happily married to my husband Jesse and we have two beautiful daughters. This is my story.

Over the years I welcomed many dogs into my life but it was my Chow Chow Roxie who inspired me to become a groomer. She had separation anxiety and would not do well in a situation where there was a lot of dogs.   In 2006 I began my schooling to become a groomer.   I opened Just 4 Paws Dog Grooming in 2007. I offer one on one grooming to create a less stress approach.  2013 was a year I will never forget our beloved Roxie  passed away peacefully in my arms the week before Christmas. I was left heartbroken and devastated at the loss of my sweet girl. I knew in my heart I could never have another Chow Chow as loveable as my girl Roxie.

In September of 2014  For my Birthday we decide that it was time to add another Pup to our family.  I began to search and look at different breeds when I came across a posting for a Miniature Australian Shepherd (at that time they were called Mini Aussies). That is when I met my now Amazing Mentor and Friend Lisa Hartjes of Follow Me Canine Companions.

I had contacted Lisa about a Blue Merle Puppy that she was wanting a Partner Family for.  After a few days of chatting , we met Lisa and this sweet ball of fluff named "Everlette" now Penny. We decided that Penny would be a good fit for our family and entered in to an amazing  Partnership adventure with Lisa. 

 Like potato chips you just can't have one MAS so  

in 2017 Poppy came to live with us. Poppy is Penny's Daughter. When Penny retired from Lisa's program, she became the foundation dog for Just 4 Paws MAS.  Penny's first litter under my program was born in September of 2019 when she welcomed Bear! 

We have since added Storm to our family he is from Penny's 2020 litter, followed by Cali, and Tribute.

I truly love breeding and showing dogs in confirmation. It has become a labor of love. We should all be so lucky to do something we love!

 I am passionate providing families with healthy loving forever family members.

The joy I see when a family gets to take their new baby home is the best part and makes all the work worth it.  

Abby began her Junior Handling Career in 2022. Since then she has won many of her classes and many Best Junior Overall. In June of 2024 Abby was awarded Best Junior Handler in Zone 5 which won her a trip to compete at the Junior Handling Nationals in Summerland British Columbia on August 31, 2024. At the Nationals Abby represent Zone 5 well and being one of the youngest competing that day!  We are very proud of her accomplishments this far! Abby is our Grand Champion Mtn Breeze Fighting for Honor-Tribute's main handler and has respectively trained Tribute and got her to her both her Championships. Abby and Tribute are currently working towards Grand Champion Bronze Title. Abby is a vital part of my breeding program and Conformation show handling our dogs.
